Woodbridge Town Library
Membership in the Friends of the Woodbridge Library is open to all interested people, organizations, and businesses. The Friends of the Woodbridge Library is a not-for-profit organization established in 1954 when Mrs. Morris Tyler persuaded several Woodbridge women to form the Friends of the Woodbridge Library. Mrs. Tyler wanted to “stimulate interest in the library and make it a vital center for activities.” To this day, the Friends remain committed to the vision of their founder and now have 600 contributing households.

The Friends’ support of the library covers activities for all ages, from pre-school story times to Italian cooking demonstrations to statewide museum passes. Annual contributions from the Friends provide for books, audio books, programs, and equipment that would otherwise not be funded. The Friends organize events throughout the year, including a annual book sale.

Have you visited the Friends Bookstore Alley? Located in the Mezzanine level of the library, you can shop their gently used books whenever the library is open! All proceeds support library programs! Please pay for your selections at the Circulation Desk,
