Located in the western half of Woodstock, it is complemented by the North Woodstock Library, the East Woodstock May Memorial Library and the Bracken Memorial Library located at Woodstock Academy.

The West Woodstock Library Association is a non-profit organization that operates under the terms of it’s constitution and bylaws. The West Woodstock Library was originally founded in 1806 and celebrated it’s 200th anniversary in 2006. The West Woodstock Library Association was founded in December 1930.
