The Assessor’s Office is responsible for the discovery, listing and valuation of all real estate and personal property, including registered motor vehicles, within the Town, in accordance with the Connecticut General State Statutes. These values generate the Grand List which is compiled annually as of the October 1st assessment date. The Grand List is used in the budget process to determine the tax rate each year.
